THE CITY OF ,._ 4F 1 <br />[2 L £ A S&NTON: C-itT C ou ei--I <br /> Staff Report <br /> <br /> February 1, 2005 <br /> Public Works Department <br /> <br />SUBJECT: ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br /> STANLEY BOULEVARD WIDENING AT STANLEY AND <br /> BERNAL AVENUE, CIP NO. 995031. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council takethe following action at the <br /> meeting of February 1, 2005: <br /> <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the subject project. <br /> <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject <br /> project. <br /> <br /> 3. Authorize final payment to Top Grade Inc, in the amount of <br /> $5,962.71. <br /> <br /> 4. Authorize payment of the retention to Top Grade Inc., in the amount <br /> of $78,282.70 thirty days after filing the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br /> 5. Allocate additional funding in the amount of $1,607 from the gas tax <br /> fund to the subject project. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: Construction of the subject project is complete and is ready for <br /> acceptance. The project consisted of the widening of the south side of <br /> Stanley Boulevard beginning at Wyoming Street then easterly through the <br /> <br />SR 05:004 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
