AND BELLECCI AND ASSOCIATES INC. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council take the following action at the <br />meeting of January 4, 2005: <br /> <br />1. Approve consultant contracts with Kier & Wright, Civil Engineers & <br /> Surveyors, Inc. and Bellecci and Associates Inc. to provide on-call land <br /> surveying and computer drafting services in the total aggregate amount <br /> not-to-exceed $350,000 until the term of June 30, 2007. <br /> <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the attached subject contract. <br /> <br />SUMMARY: <br /> <br />The City has an ongoing need for on-call land surveying and associated <br />computer drafting services. City staff sent a Request for Qualifications <br />(R.F.Q's) to twelve local firms from the City's existing database for <br />surveying and drafting services. Six firms provided statements of <br />qualifications. City staff reviewed the qualifications and invited the top <br />three firms for interviews. Based on the firms' qualifications, interviews, <br />and references, staff recommends that the City Council approve contracts <br />with the firms of Kier & Wright, Civil Engineers and Surveyors Inc. and <br />Bellecci and Associates Inc. for services until June 30, 2007. <br /> <br />SR:05:016 <br />Page 1 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
