c PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-97-20 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF EARLY LEARNING INSTITUTE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-19 WHEREAS, the Early Learning Institute has applied for rezoning from the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - MDR (Medium Density Residential) district to the PUD - P/I (PubliclInstitutional) district and development plan approval of a revised development plan to construct and operate a private school for up to 200 children, grades one through eight, with two, one-story buildings totaling 17,000 square feet on an approximately 3.51-acre vacant site located on the northerly side of Stoneridge Drive between Stone Pointe Way and the Zone 7 pump station; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 26, 1997, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-96-19; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated February 26, 1997, and received the recommendations of staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts ofthe proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment.
