PC-97-l4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-97-01 <br />:J.. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for a Planned Unit Development Prezoning to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - LDR (Low Density Residential) District <br />of approximately 34.5 acres of property located at 2201, 2207, 2215, 2221 and <br />2313 Martin Avenue, and 3547,3711,3737,3747, and 3757 Trenery Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of February 12, 1997, the Planning Commission, <br />after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of <br />the City staff concerning this proposal, recommended approval of a Negative <br />Declaration prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br />LDR (Low Density Residential) Zoning District with a maximum gross density <br />approaching two dwelling units per acre is consistent with the Pleasanton General <br />Plan. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the prezoning of the subject properties <br />to the PUD - LDR zoning designation would provide these sites the opportunity to <br />annex into the City of Pleasanton and to develop their properties in conformance <br />with the land use designations and policies of the General Plan and in <br />conformance with the prevailing development pattern of the surrounding area. <br /> <br />I I <br />
