4 <br /> THE CITY OF . _ <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON- <br /> February <br /> 21, 2022 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: APPROVE A THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE AS-NEEDED MAINTENANCE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PAVEMENT STRIPING AND SIGNAGE SERVICES <br /> WITH WOMACK STRIPING, INC., TO INCREASE THE CONTRACT <br /> MAXIMUM FROM $100,000 TO $200,000 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022/23 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton awarded the as-needed maintenance agreement for pavement <br /> striping and signage services to Womack Striping, Inc. on June 20, 2019. An increase in <br /> the contract maximum is necessary to move forward on projects that were deferred in <br /> the past few years. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the third amendment to the as-needed maintenance agreement for pavement <br /> striping and signage services to increase the maximum contract with Womack Striping, <br /> Inc., from $100,000 to $200,000 for Fiscal year 2022/23. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The $100,000 increase in contract maximum does not require additional funding. <br /> Funding is available in the Annual Traffic Button and Line Marker Installation Project <br /> (CIP No. 23507), the West Las Positas Reconstruction Project (CIP No. 11514), and the <br /> Annual Bicycle and Pedestrian-Related Improvements at Various Locations Project (CIP <br /> No. 23543). All three Capital Improvement Projects will have budget utilized for <br /> pavement striping work performed by Womack Striping, Inc. <br />
