1 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON, <br /> January 17, 2023 <br /> City Manager's Office <br /> TITLE: APPROVE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT WITH CITIZEN COMMUNICATIONS DBA RECYCLIST FOR <br /> SB 1383 WASTE COMPLIANCE PROGRAM TRACKING SOFTWARE TO <br /> INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF THE THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT BY <br /> $12,000 FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $111,230. <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City has an existing three-year contract with Citizen Communication DBA Recyclist <br /> to provide the initial set up and annual subscription for the SB 1383 compliance tracking <br /> software program. The software was procured to manage the regulatory compliance, <br /> record keeping and outreach for commercial and multifamily waste generators within <br /> Pleasanton's service area. The $12,000 in additional funds is needed for additional data <br /> imports at six times a year for the remaining two years of the contract. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Recyclist <br /> (Attachment 1) for S131 383 Waste Compliance Program Tracking Software to increase <br /> the amount of the agreement by $12,000 for a total amount not to exceed $111,230 <br /> over the three-year term. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Recyclist <br /> is in an amount not to exceed $111,230, inclusive of the recommended increase of <br /> $12,000. Funding for this Agreement will come from the recycling revenues in the <br /> Measure D Fund. <br />
