BY INCREASING THE NOT-TO-EXCEED <br /> AMOUNT FROM $300,000 TO $500,000 AND EXTENDING THE TERM <br /> THROUGH FY 2023/24 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Operations Services Department is responsible for ensuring that all City facilities <br /> and infrastructures are properly maintained by performing both interior and exterior <br /> painting. Over the years the City has entered into multiple as-needed agreements with a <br /> variety of contractors to maintain and renovate our public infrastructure. Per the 20-Year <br /> Repair and Replacement Plan, several projects have been identified to be completed <br /> this fiscal year and in the upcoming two fiscal years, in addition to projects that that <br /> were deferred due to the pandemic. <br /> In July 2019, the City entered into a three-year, as-needed maintenance and trade <br /> services agreement with D&D Commercial & Residential Painting Inc. (D&D) for interior <br /> and exterior painting services. <br /> Staff is requesting to amend the compensation with D&D by increasing the not-to- <br /> exceed amount for FY 2021/22 from $100,000 to $200,000. Staff also recommends <br /> extending the term of the agreement through FY 2023/24 for the five-year term and <br /> have a cumulative amount of$300,000 for the remaining two years of the agreement for <br /> FY 2022/23 and FY 2023/24. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement with D&D Commercial & <br /> Residential Painting, Inc. by extending the term through FY 2023/24 and increasing the <br /> not-to-exceed amount from $300,000 to a total cumulative amount of$500,000 through <br /> FY 2023/24 for the remainder of the agreement. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The agreement with D&D Commercial & Residential Painting, Inc. is funded primarily by <br /> the City's Internal Service Funds as part of the Repair and Replacement Plan with a <br /> nominal portion funded by the General Fund Facilities Maintenance and Operations <br /> budget. The Internal Service Funds that will be used to cover these projects will be: 424 <br /> — Water $40,000, 434 — Sewer $20,000, 515 Facilities Renovations $350,000, and 534 <br />
