CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1905 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF REGIS AND <br />LISA LACHANCE FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-28 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Regis and Lisa Lachance have applied to rezone an approximately 12,400 sq. ft. parcel <br />from the R-1-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District to the PUD-MDR <br />(Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Residential) Zoning District and for PUD <br />development plan approval to construct two new single-family homes measuring <br />approximately 1,200 sq. ft. and 2,557 sq. ft. on two lots measuring approximately 4,259 <br />sq. ft. and 8,141 sq. ft., respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council <br /> on May 18, 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the <br /> rezoning and development plan application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 18, 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the rezoning and development plan are consistent with <br /> the General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan policies. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Approves the rezoning of an approximately 12,400 sq. ft. parcel located at 1072 <br />Division Street from the R-1-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District to <br />the PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Residential) <br />Zoning District. <br /> <br />The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the <br />City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br />amended to Zoning Unit Map No. 461, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated May <br />18, 2004, and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
