CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1905 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF REGIS AND LISA LACHANCE FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-28 WHEREAS, Regis and Lisa Lachance have applied to rezone an approximately 12,400 sq. ft. parcel from the R-1-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District to the PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Residential) Zoning District and for PUD development plan approval to construct two new single-family homes measuring approximately 1,200 sq. ft. and 2,557 sq. ft. on two lots measuring approximately 4,259 sq. ft. and 8,141 sq. ft., respectively; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on May 18, 2004; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the rezoning and development plan application; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 18, 2004; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the rezoning and development plan are consistent with the General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan policies. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2. Approves the rezoning of an approximately 12,400 sq. ft. parcel located at 1072 Division Street from the R-1-6,500 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District to the PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development - Medium Density Residential) Zoning District. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended to Zoning Unit Map No. 461, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", dated May 18, 2004, and incorporated herein by this reference.
