THE CITY OF <br />Baa <br />PLEASANTON. <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />November 16, 2021 <br />City Council <br />TITLE: APPROVE EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR INTERIM CITY MANAGER <br />BRIAN DOLAN <br />SUMMARY <br />The City Council appoints the city manager. With the retirement of the current city <br />manager, the City Council has offered, and current Assistant City Manager Brian Dolan <br />has accepted, appointment to the position of interim city manager. A contract providing <br />for an annual salary of $254,095, benefits, and other terms is attached. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the employment contract for Interim City Manager, and authorize the mayor to <br />sign on behalf of the City. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />This contract will be paid from available resources in the General Fund, in the City <br />Manager's Office budget. <br />
