THE CITY OF 2 <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />PLEASANTON" <br />July 20,2021 <br />City Manager's Office <br />TITLE: APPROVE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICE <br />AGREEMENT WITH HF&H CONSULTANTS, LLC FOR SOLID WASTE <br />SYSTEM TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES TO INCREASE AMOUNT <br />OF THE AGREEMENT BY $168,000 FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO <br />EXCEED $298,000 <br />SUMMARY <br />The City of Pleasanton has an existing contract with HF&H, LLC to provide technical <br />assistance in managing a variety of Solid Waste related projects. Under the current <br />Agreement staff and the consultant have begun work on planning for the <br />implementation of SB1383 along with the ongoing projects related to the management <br />of the Franchise Agreement with Pleasanton Garbage Service. Additional funds are <br />needed for the current Fiscal Year 2021-22 to continue work on these projects. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is recommended that the City Council approve the Second Amendment to the <br />Professional Services Agreement with HF&H Consultants, LLC (Attachment 1) for Solid <br />Waste Systems Technical Assistance Services to increase the amount of the <br />Agreement by $168,000 for a total amount not to exceed $298,000. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />The proposed Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with HF&H <br />Consultants, LLC is in the amount not to exceed $298,000, an increase of $168,000. <br />Funding for this Agreement will come from the Measure D Account 10512001-430101 .
