THE CITY OF <br />Mft- <br />E-=nenr i M��LEASANTON <br />CIVICS ARTS COMMISSION <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />November 4, 2019. <br />Item 6 <br />TITLE: APPROVE FUNDING CRITERIA FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020/21 <br />COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM - CIVIC ARTS CATEGORY <br />SUMMARY <br />Each year, the Civic Arts _Commission reviews the previous year's funding criteria.for <br />the Civic Arts Category of the Community Grant Program to better judge and allocate <br />funds for qualifying applicants. The Civic Arts Commission is requested to discuss, <br />identify and adopt the criteria that it will use to make allocations for the Fiscal Year (FY) <br />2020/21 grant cycle. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Review existing funding criteria for the Civic Arts Category,discuss any <br />alternatives/modifications and adopt funding criteria for the FY 2020/21 grant cycle. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />Total available funding -for the FY 2020/21 Community Grant - Civic Arts Category is. <br />$54,903.23. Annually the City allocates $40,000 for Civic Art Grants. Additionally, there <br />is a carryover of .$14,903.23 from the grants appropriated in FY2019/20 which will be <br />available to allocate in 2020/21. <br />
