BACKGROUND <br />The funding criteria that was adopted by the Commission for the prior grant cycle (FY <br />2019/20) is listed. below: <br />• For all Grant Applicants .there is no minimum funding request amount per <br />application. The maximum funding request amount per application is $7,600., <br />Since this is a competitive funding process, there is no guarantee that every <br />applicant will receive funding. There is also no guarantee that the amount an <br />agency has requested will be the amount granted. <br />•. In evaluating applications for this category, the Civic Arts Commission will <br />..primarily consider projects that: <br />o Engage new and diverse participants, and/or new audience members for <br />the arts in Pleasanton <br />o Target a -specific community need or a gap in art services; and/or <br />o Involve co -production and collaboration with local organizations. <br />The funding criteria will. be included in the FY 2020/21 Grant Application packet. and will . <br />be discussed during the Grant Workshops that will be held December 11 from 10:00 <br />am- 12 noon in Pleasanton and December 17 from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm in Livermore.
