Committee <br />members present were Christina Nystrom Mantha, Councilmember Julie Testa, Ellen Pensky <br />McGraw, Steve Van Dorn, Will Doerlich, Harsh Gohil, Shareef Mandavi, Olivia Sanwong, <br />Chiman Lee, Esther Yu, Barbara Steinfield, Steve Baker, Sylvia Tian, and Jeffrey Chen. <br />Committee members not in attendance was Angel Moore, Kristen Hayes Kuse, Judy Wheeler, <br />and Jamie Yee/Glen Sparks. City staff present were Director of Community Development <br />Gerry Beaudin, Economic Development Specialist Lisa Adamos, Economic Development <br />Office Assistant Nicole Rodriquez and Director of Economic Development Pamela Ott. <br />EVC members and City staff introduced themselves. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />No agenda amendments were made. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />There was no public comment. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The February 21, 2019, meeting minutes were approved as presented on motion by Will <br />Doerlich and second by Steve Baker by a vote of 14-0-0. <br />INFORMATION UPDATES <br />Pamela Ott referenced the Upcoming Meetings and Events listing, and Steve Van Dorn <br />highlighted the Community Service Awards event on March 25. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS AND OTHER MATTERS <br />City Council Liaison Report <br />Councilmember Julie Testa offered several items from the March 19 City Council meeting: <br />• Council adopted its 2019-2020 Work Plan after public meetings on March 12 and March <br />19 <br />o EVC members inquired about the public feedback and whether it focused on a <br />few priorities or a broad range of projects <br />■ There were several items that received community attention, including <br />adding sand volleyball courts, expanding trails, expansion or rebuilding of <br />
