THE CITY OF 7 <br /> e... r <br /> - CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> October 16, 2018 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH TERRA <br /> LANDSCAPE FOR "MISCELLANEOUS LANDSCAPE SERVICES" FOR <br /> LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AT VARIOUS STREET MEDIANS, AND <br /> FACILITIES THROUGHOUT THE CITY <br /> SUMMARY <br /> To effectively continue landscape maintenance throughout the city, Parks staff actively <br /> seeks a landscaping contractor to perform maintenance in parks and street medians. <br /> The project scope consists of litter removal, shrub and ground cover trimming, and <br /> weed/insect control in several street median areas; the Park and Ride Lot on Johnson <br /> Drive; Iron Horse Trail segment from Santa Rita Road to Busch Road; and the care and <br /> replanting of the 64 Main Street Color Bowls. Several of the more notable street median <br /> areas include Sunol Boulevard, Bernal Avenue, Valley Avenue, Vineyard Avenue, West <br /> Las Positas Boulevard, and Stanley Boulevard. Project administration is under the <br /> direction of the Parks Maintenance Division. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to enter into second amendment to the agreement with Tree <br /> Sculpture Corporation (dba Terra Landscape) for a nine (9) month period starting <br /> October 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 with a not-to-exceed amount of$395,000. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Contracted services are funded in the Operating and Parks Renovation budgets for the <br /> Park Maintenance Division that oversees this work. A total of$400,000 has been <br /> allocated in the Parks Maintenance Division FY 2018/19 budget to fund this <br /> maintenance. <br />
