THE CITY OF 8 <br /> -.. �„.,., ��, r _ CITY <br /> pLEASANTONL COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> September 18, 2018 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY ESSEX <br /> PLEASANTON, L.P. FOR ESSEX I AND ESSEX II LOCATED AT 4863 <br /> WILLOW ROAD AND 5789 GIBRALTAR DRIVE, RESPECTIVELY <br /> SUMMARY <br /> PUD-85-08-12D (ESSEX I) created ten buildings consisting of 251 residential units, four <br /> live/work units and approximately 5,700 square feet of retail space and related off-site <br /> and on-site improvements, located at the property 4863 Willow Road (southeast corner <br /> of Owens Drive and Willow Road). PUD-81-30-86D (ESSEX II) created eight buildings <br /> consisting of 247 residential units, four live/work units, and a 0.55-acre public park <br /> (Harding Park) located at 5789 Gibraltar Drive (northern corner of Gibraltar Drive and <br /> Hacienda Drive). The properties are located as shown on Attachment 1. All public <br /> improvements have been constructed and are ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the public improvements constructed with ESSEX I and ESSEX II for normal <br /> maintenance. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be a minimal increase to the budget for the maintenance of public <br /> improvements. Tax revenue generally covers the increased cost to provide services and <br /> maintain infrastructure. <br />
