("Contractor") for the five Landscape Maintenance Districts is
required to allow for inflation per the approved contract terms and to address outstanding
maintenance concerns. The agreement is being extended beyond the initial six-month
term for an additional year. The agreement amount of $148,207.84 is consistent with the
projected maintenance costs in the Engineer's Report approved on June 19, 2018, as
part of the 2018-19 Annual Assessments for Landscape Maintenance Districts 1984-1
(Ponderosa-Del Prado), 1993-1 (Windsor), 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch), 1994-1 (Oak Tree
Farm), and 1995-1 (Moller Ranch).
RECOMMENDATION
1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the
maintenance and trade service agreement with Tree Sculpture, Inc., increasing the
total contract amount to $148,207.84 for landscape maintenance services for
Landscape Maintenance Districts 1984-1 (Ponderosa-Del Prado), 1993-1 (Windsor),
1993-2 (Bonde Ranch), 1994-1 (Oak Tree Farm), and 1995-1 (Moller Ranch).
2. Appropriate an additional $2,000 from the Ponderosa-Del Prado Reserve Fund.
3. Approve and authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement term to June 30,
2019.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Funding for the maintenance of Landscape Maintenance District 1984-1 (Ponderosa-
Del Prado) has already been appropriated, but an additional $2,000 is required from the
Ponderosa-Del Prado Reserve Fund to cover unforeseen maintenance costs. Funding
for the maintenance of Landscape Maintenance Districts 1993-1, 1993-2, 1994-1 and
1995-1 has already been appropriated, and no additional funding is required for those
Districts.
