IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $148,207.84 FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS 1984-1 (PONDEROSA- <br /> DEL PRADO), 1993-1 (WINDSOR), 1993-2 (BONDE RANCH), 1994-1 (OAK <br /> TREE FARM) AND 1995-1 (MOLLER RANCH) <br /> SUMMARY <br /> A First Amendment to the maintenance and trade services agreement with Tree <br /> Sculpture Group, Inc. ("Contractor") for the five Landscape Maintenance Districts is <br /> required to allow for inflation per the approved contract terms and to address outstanding <br /> maintenance concerns. The agreement is being extended beyond the initial six-month <br /> term for an additional year. The agreement amount of $148,207.84 is consistent with the <br /> projected maintenance costs in the Engineer's Report approved on June 19, 2018, as <br /> part of the 2018-19 Annual Assessments for Landscape Maintenance Districts 1984-1 <br /> (Ponderosa-Del Prado), 1993-1 (Windsor), 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch), 1994-1 (Oak Tree <br /> Farm), and 1995-1 (Moller Ranch). <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the First Amendment to the <br /> maintenance and trade service agreement with Tree Sculpture, Inc., increasing the <br /> total contract amount to $148,207.84 for landscape maintenance services for <br /> Landscape Maintenance Districts 1984-1 (Ponderosa-Del Prado), 1993-1 (Windsor), <br /> 1993-2 (Bonde Ranch), 1994-1 (Oak Tree Farm), and 1995-1 (Moller Ranch). <br /> 2. Appropriate an additional $2,000 from the Ponderosa-Del Prado Reserve Fund. <br /> 3. Approve and authorize the City Manager to amend the agreement term to June 30, <br /> 2019. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for the maintenance of Landscape Maintenance District 1984-1 (Ponderosa- <br /> Del Prado) has already been appropriated, but an additional $2,000 is required from the <br /> Ponderosa-Del Prado Reserve Fund to cover unforeseen maintenance costs. Funding <br /> for the maintenance of Landscape Maintenance Districts 1993-1, 1993-2, 1994-1 and <br /> 1995-1 has already been appropriated, and no additional funding is required for those <br /> Districts. <br />
