FOR THE ANNUAL SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE — <br /> FOOTHILL ROAD ALONG STONERIDGE MALL PROJECT, CIP NO. 17512 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The 2017 Annual Sidewalk Maintenance Replacement project consisted of removing <br /> and replacing the old and damaged asphalt sidewalk on the east side of Foothill Road, <br /> between Stoneridge Drive and Canyon Way. The sidewalk was replaced with concrete, <br /> and new Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) access ramps were installed. <br /> Construction of the project is complete and ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the project. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Authorize the payment of the retention in the amount of $14,131 to FBD Vanguard <br /> Construction, Inc. <br /> 4. Authorize the transfer of the project's unused balance of $31,596 to the Street <br /> General Fund. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $316,464 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br /> totaled $284,868, leaving an unused balance of $31,596. Staff recommends the transfer <br /> of the remaining balance to the Street General Fund balance. <br />
