An amendment of the Master
Fee Schedule is for cost recovery for returned checks, timing for payment of the
backflow prevention device administrative fee (with no change in the fee amount), and
deleting the local bicycle licensing fee to mirror the proposed code change.
RECOMMENDATION
Introduce the omnibus ordinance and adopt the two resolutions.
FISCAL IMPACT
The changes to the Master Fee Schedule will: (1) improve cost recovery for returned
checks; (2) not change the backflow fee, just timing of payment; and (3) no actual
reduction in bicycle licensing fee revenue as licenses have not been issued for years.
