THE CITY OF <br /> ILL 1 4 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTON® <br /> February 20, 2018 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH NEW IMAGE <br /> LANDSCAPE COMPANY FOR TURFGRASS MOWING AND EDGING <br /> SERVICES AT VARIOUS PARKS IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br /> $522,918 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> To effectively maintain landscape maintenance, the City actively seeks a turfgrass <br /> mowing and edging contractor. The subject project consists of turf mowing and edging <br /> at various City owned parks. Project administration is under the direction of the Parks <br /> Maintenance Division. Staff solicited proposals for the services of experienced licensed <br /> contractor to perform routine landscape maintenance by directly contacting landscaping <br /> vendors and posting the notification on the City's website. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to enter into a 3-year contract with New Image Landscape <br /> Company starting March 1, 2018 with a not-to-exceed maximum of $522,918 for the 3- <br /> year contract term. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Appropriations for this contract are included in the annual Parks Maintenance Operating <br /> Budget. No additional appropriations are required, and there will be no increase to net <br /> City cost. <br />
