THE CITY OF <br /> r � -" 0 H elm "u' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PL£AS4NTONo <br /> October 4, 2016 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: REJECT ALL BIDS FOR THE BLACK AVENUE TRAFFIC CALMING <br /> PHASE 2 PROJECT, CIP NO. 155049 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Bids have been received for the subject project to install concrete curb bulb-outs, curb <br /> ramps and traffic striping at Black Avenue and Greenwood Road as part of the Black <br /> Avenue Traffic Calming Plan. Two bids were received and both were significantly higher <br /> than the engineer's estimate. Staff recommends that the bids be rejected, and the <br /> project be re-bid. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Reject all bids received for the subject project. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no cost to the City as a result of rejecting all bids. <br />
