THE CITY OF <br /> ~� - ` <br /> ® ur I���� <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> _ _ _ noo�oi <br /> pLEASANTON® <br /> October 4, 2016 <br /> Community Development <br /> TITLE: RATIFY APPOINTMENTS TO THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> UPDATE TASK FORCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On July 19, 2016, the City Council approved the formation of a ten member ad hoc <br /> Downtown Specific Plan Update Task Force comprised of two City Council <br /> representatives, two Planning Commissioners, two Pleasanton Downtown Association <br /> representatives, one Economic Vitality Committee member, and three at-large <br /> representatives. The City received 16 applications from the public for the three at-large <br /> positions by the deadline of September 2, 2016. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council ratify the representatives to serve on the <br /> Downtown Specific Plan Task Force. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be no significant fiscal impact for the City as a result of initiating the Task <br /> Force as support for these entities will be provided by City staff members. <br />
