MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> March 18, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Brown led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thome <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session to discuss anticipated litigation. No <br /> further reportable action was taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes February 4, 2014 (as corrected), special and regular (as <br /> corrected) minutes of February 18, 2014 and special minutes of March 4, 2014 <br /> 2. Accepted public improvements performed by West Bay Builders for the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic <br /> Center Renovation Project, CIP NO. 0870387; authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of <br /> Completion, and the release of retention held in escrow in the amount of $157,577.10 plus any <br /> applicable interest <br /> City Manager <br /> 3. Approved renewal of three-year Cooperative agreement with Alameda County for Pleasanton's <br /> participation in the Alameda County HOME Consortium for receiving Federal HOME Investment <br /> Partnership Program (HOME) funds and waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 14-668 <br /> authorizing the city manager to execute agreement for a period of three years (Fiscal Years 2015, <br /> 2016 and 2017 for the purpose of securing federal home funds <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Reviewed actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 5. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 14-669 approving the Annual Progress Report <br /> on implementation of the General Plan Housing Element for the calendar year 2013 and <br /> authorizing submittal to the California Department of Housing and Community Development and <br /> the Governor's Office of Planning and Research <br /> 6. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Professional Services agreement with <br /> Pacific Municipal Consultants (PMC) for Planning Services in the amount not to exceed $50,400 <br />
