MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> January 21, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Vice-Mayor Pentin led the <br /> Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION <br /> Assistant City Attorney Seto reported that the Council met in Closed Session and that there is no <br /> reportable action. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes December 17, 2013 <br /> City Attorney <br /> 2. Approved Third Amendment to Agreement with Jarvis Fay Deporto & Gibson for legal services in <br /> conjunction with pending litigation <br /> Community Developmeit <br /> 3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2086 amending Title 18 (Zoning) of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code to modify Chapter 18.110 (Personal Wireless Service Facilities); and <br /> Sections 18.28.040 (Agricultural District), 18.32.050 (R-1 One-Family Residential Districts); <br /> 18.36.030 (RM Multi-Family Residential Districts); 18.36.040 (RM Multi-Family Residential <br /> Districts); 18.40.030 (0 Office District); 18.40.040 (0 Office District); 18.44.090 (C Commercial <br /> Districts); and 18.56.040 (P Public and Institutional District). These amendments modify the <br /> existing code for cellular antennas and equipment including the locational, design, and processing <br /> standards. The amendments also remove the locational restrictions currently imposed on other <br /> uses seeking tc locate within 300 feet of an existing facility, e.g., nursing homes, assisted living <br /> facilities, private schools, and childcare centers. <br /> 4. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2087 amending Title 11, Chapter 11.20, <br /> Section 11.20.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, changing various speed limits on City of <br /> Pleasanton streets as part of the speed limit review and update of engineering and traffic surveys <br /> (Brown voted no) <br /> Finance <br /> 5. Accepted the monthly disbursements and investment report for November 2013 <br />
