FOR <br /> THE WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD AT TASSAJARA CREEK <br /> STREET REPAIR PROJECT, CIP NO. 115014 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This project consisted of repairing the roadway sinking area on eastbound West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard near Tassajara Creek. Construction of the project is now complete <br /> and ready for City Council acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the project as complete. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $11,364.59 to Fanfa, Inc. thirty <br /> days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $290,742 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br /> totaled $255,683.85 leaving an unspent balance of $35,059. Additional funds totaling <br /> $250,000 were added with the 2013-14 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget to <br /> fund repairs to other sections of West Las Positas Boulevard that are experiencing <br /> sinking issues. Staff is recommending the $35,059 balance be retained in the project to <br /> supplement the funds available for future West Last Positas repairs. <br />
