MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL September 17, 2013 Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Cook-Kallio lead the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne Absent: None CLOSED SESSION REPORT City Attorney Lowell reported that the Council met with legal counsel in Closed Session regarding anticipated litigation and that reportable action was taken. AGENDA AMENDMENTS City Manager Fialho stated that Item 6 was continued to the October 1, 2013 meeting. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute the assignment and second amendment of the professional service agreement with the Newpoint Group, Inc. to Crowe Horwath, LLP and additional services to conduct a refuse and recycling collection rate study in the amount of $34,700 Community Development 3. Wavied second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2078 approving the application of Pleasanton Gateway, L.L.C. to construct 210 apartment units, 97 single-family detached units, and related on- and off-site improvements on an approximately 26.72-acre site located at 1600 Valley Avenue 5.
