FOR CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT CITY <br /> FACILITIES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The FY2013/14 and FY2014/15 Operating Budget for the Building Maintenance <br /> Program provides for contract custodial services at various City facilities. A Request for <br /> Proposal (RFP) was circulated this past April and a mandatory bidder's conference was <br /> held on April 8, 2013. A total of nine companies responded to the RFP, and after <br /> reviewing all proposals, staff has identified Nova Commercial Co., Inc. as the qualified <br /> low bidder. A complete list of City locations and services recommended to be provided <br /> by Nova Commercial Co., Inc. is detailed in contract's scope of work. The <br /> recommended agreement will commence on July 1, 2013 and expire on June 30, 2015 <br /> with an option for three additional one year extensions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the attached Agreement for Contractor Goods/Services for Nova Commercial <br /> Co., Inc. in the amount of not to exceed $185,000 per fiscal year. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The FY2013/14 and FY2014/15 budget for the Building Maintenance Division (031168) <br /> includes $185,000 for these services. <br />
