THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTON. <br /> April 16, 2013 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPROVE A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> RECYCLING BOARD AS THE STATE MANDATED LOCAL TASK <br /> FORCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVIEWING AND COMMENTING ON <br /> COUNTY INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN AMENDMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Alameda County Waste Management Authority (ACWMA) Board approved a <br /> resolution designating the current Alameda County Recycling Board (RI3) as the State- <br /> mandated Local Task Force (LTF), for the purpose of reviewing arid advising the <br /> ACWMA on current and future County Integrated Waste Management Plans. ACWMA <br /> has requested that member agencies consider adopting the same resolution. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt the resolution designating the Alameda County Source Reduction and Recycling <br /> Board as the Local Task Force under state law for the purpose of reviewing and <br /> commenting on County Integrated Waste Management Plan Amendments. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact associated with the proposed resolution. <br />
