MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> March 5, 2013 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Cook-Kallio <br /> lead the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: One Vacancy <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported that the Council met in Closed Session on February 19. 2013 for <br /> conference its labor negotiators regarding Pleasanton City Employees Association. The Council <br /> provided direction to negotiators and no reportable action was taken. <br /> The Council met in Closed Session this evening regarding existing litigation items: Lin vs. City of <br /> Pleasanton, Gonzales vs. City of Pleasanton, and Lin vs. City of Pleasanton. In each matter, the <br /> Council took no reportable action. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho noted the addition of an item relating to the ratification of a one month extension to <br /> a rent stabilization agreement with Hacienda Mobile Home Park. The staff report was distributed on <br /> Friday and made available via the City website. For the purposes of adopting the Consent Calendar, <br /> the Council should refer to the item at 5.1. <br /> Staff also distributed an amendment to Item 3, which relates to the introduction of an ordinance <br /> regarding farm worker housing. Staff has proposed changes to the ordinance that would require <br /> submission of a residential safety management plan with future applications. The amendments were <br /> circulated to the Council, posted on the City website. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes February 19, 2013 <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Public Hearing: P12-1785, City of Pleasanton — Introduced and wavied full reading of Ordinance <br /> No. 2062 to amend various Chapters of Title 18 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to comply with <br /> California Health and Safety Code Sections 17021.5 and 17021.6 with respect to housing for <br /> agricultural employees <br /> 4. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 13-597 approving the Altamont Settlement <br /> Agreement Education Advisory Board Expenditure Plan for fiscal year 2013-2014 <br />
