THE CITY OF 18 <br /> -• "' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT �J <br /> PIE ASA4NTON. <br /> January 15, 2013 <br /> Operations Services Center <br /> TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH HEACOX ASSOCIATES LANDSCAPE <br /> ARCHITECTS TO PREPARE CITY-WIDE LANDSCAPE DESIGN <br /> GUIDELINES AND DOCUMENT SUBMITTAL PROCESS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton (City) has selected Heacox Associates Landscape Architects to <br /> develop a city-wide landscape design guideline and related documents. The proposed <br /> specifications for the design guidelines and submittal checklist are being implemented <br /> as part of the City's Climate Action Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute the attached <br /> Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Heacox Associates Landscape Architects <br /> for $90,300 to prepare the City of Pleasanton Specifications for City-wide Landscape <br /> Design Guidelines and Landscape Document Submittal Checklist. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The total proposed contract amount is $90,300. All project costs are to be funded from <br /> the Recycling and Waste Management Import Mitigation Fund (Account 245-245900- <br /> 4385 Miscellaneous Services). The account has a budget of $70,000 for this project in <br /> the 2012/13FY. The fund balance is sufficient to fund the remaining contract amount of <br /> $20,300. <br />
