MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> March 6, 2012 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:06 p.m. Councilmember Thorne <br /> lead the Pledge of Allegiance and he provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kailio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell stated that the Council met in Closed Session concerning existing litigation, Urban <br /> Habitat, et. al v. City of Pleasanton and that no reportable action was taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho stated that Item 12, Public Hearing: PADR-2090 would be continued to April 3, <br /> 2012. <br /> Mayor Hosterman briefly reviewed the history behind Item 12, noting that the appellants have been <br /> before the Planning Commission, City Council and Zoning Administrator at least once before regarding <br /> this very issue. She expressed concern over how often someone might appeal matters not properly <br /> before the Council. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes February 21, 2012 and special meeting minutes of January 24 <br /> and January 31, 2012 with noted changes <br /> Councilmember McGovern requested the following corrections to the Minutes of January 24, 2012: <br /> • "Access Community Health" should read "Axis Community Health" <br /> • Page 5, last paragraph —change "singly" to "individually" <br /> City Manager <br /> 2. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a professional service agreement with the <br /> NewPoint Group, Inc. to conduct a refuse and recycling collection rate study <br /> Community Development <br /> 3. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 4. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 12-506 approving the Altamont Settlement <br /> Agreement Education Advisory Board expenditure plan for fiscal year 2012-2013 <br />
