MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> January 10, 2012 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br /> Thorne invited Boy Scout Troop #948 to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and he provided introductory <br /> remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Jonathan Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session and no reportable action <br /> was taken. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio stated that the Mayor had requested continuance of Items 13 and 14 due to her <br /> absence. <br /> Councilmember McGovern asked to pull Items 1 through 9 to allow for additional staff presentation and <br /> public comment. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Community Development <br /> 1. Pulled for discussion — Waive second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 2026 approving <br /> the City initiated rezoning of the Bart Property (5835 and 5859 Owens Drive), as filed under Case <br /> P11-0904 <br /> 2. Pulled for discussion — Waive second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 2027 approving <br /> the City initiated rezoning of the Sheraton Property (5990 Stoneridge Mall Road), as filed under <br /> Case P11-0906 <br /> 3. Pulled for discussion — Waive second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 2028 approving <br /> the City initiated rezoning of ten acres of the Stoneridge Shopping Center Property (1008 - 2481 <br /> Stoneridge Mall Road), as filed under Case P11-0908 <br /> 4.
