MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING January 10, 2012 CALL TO ORDER Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Thorne invited Boy Scout Troop #948 to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and he provided introductory remarks. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio Absent: Mayor Hosterman CLOSED SESSION REPORT City Attorney Jonathan Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session and no reportable action was taken. AGENDA AMENDMENTS Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio stated that the Mayor had requested continuance of Items 13 and 14 due to her absence. Councilmember McGovern asked to pull Items 1 through 9 to allow for additional staff presentation and public comment. CONSENT CALENDAR Community Development 1. Pulled for discussion — Waive second reading and adoption of Ordinance No. 2027 approving the City initiated rezoning of the Sheraton Property (5990 Stoneridge Mall Road), as filed under Case P11-0906 3.
