Public Comment <br /> John Milligan addressed the Council as a Safeway employee concerned about the impacts of the <br /> proposed Wal-Mart store on Santa Rita Road. He shared his personal belief that the presence of Wal- <br /> Mart would hurt not only Safeway, but also its employees, many of whom are Pleasanton residents. <br /> Brian Adkins said he did not think Wal-Mart should be allowed to move into Pleasanton. <br /> Stella Peterson said she is a Safeway employee and is very concerned about the potential impacts of <br /> Wal-Mart on Safeway employees and traffic safety. <br /> City Council Minutes Page 2 of 5 January 10, 2012 <br />
