MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> January 17, 2012 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. led the Pledge of <br /> Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS: It was noted that Item 6, at the request of Mr. Cunningham, is being <br /> continued to February 7 <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of November 15, 2011 and January 4, 2012 with noted <br /> changes. <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Approved a second amendment to agreement with T. Y. Lin International in the amount of <br /> $66,003 to prepare retaining wall hard copy mapping, right of way appraisal and acquisition <br /> services, and a utility encroachment exception for the I-580/Foothill Road Interchange <br /> Fire <br /> 4. Approved a two-year ccontract with San Francisco Paramedic Association not to exceed $63,700 <br /> for EMS Continuing Education <br /> MOTION: It was M/S by McGovern/Thorne to approve Consent Calendar as submitted and as noted. <br /> Motion carried by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Vice Mayor Cook-Kallio <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Mayor Hosterman <br /> MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> 5. Public Comment <br /> Fred Norman addressed Council about taking active stance against the wars. <br />
