THE CITY OF 1 Q Q <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEEASA4NTON. <br /> August 16, 2011 <br /> Police <br /> TITLE: APPROVAL OF CONTRACT WITH ALL CITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES <br /> (ACMS) IN THE AMOUNT OF $213,235 FOR CROSSING GUARD <br /> SERVICES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Police Department is recommending approval of a contract with All City <br /> Management Services to provide Crossing Guard Services for FY 2011/12 and 2012/13. <br /> Services include providing individuals to perform school crossing guard services for the <br /> City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Unified School District. All City Management <br /> Services will provide all personnel, including training, supervision, and administration of <br /> the program. Crossing Guard Service is currently provided at 21 locations totaling <br /> 15,210 staffing hours during the regular school year and 6 locations totaling 456 staffing <br /> hours during the summer school period. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the contract with All City Management Services (ALMS) in the amount of <br /> $213,235 for Crossing Guard Services. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed contract for $213,235 includes the administration, supervision and <br /> training of 21 adult crossing guards for 15,210 hours during the school year and 6 adult <br /> crossing guards for 456 hours during summer school. Funding for this contract is <br /> included in the 2011/12 FY Budget. <br />
