PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2001-09 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF C.J. AND SUZANNE <br />DOHERTY D.B.A. BUDGET CAR AND TRUCK RENTAL/SALES FOR <br />DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PDR-107 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />C.J. and Sn?anne Doherty d.b.a. Budget Car and Track Rental/Sales has <br />applied for design review approval to modify an approved landscape plan <br />(Case PDR-44) for a car and track rental and sales lot by replacing <br />decorative trellises with trees located at 4003 Pimlico Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Freeway Commercial (C-F) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of February 28, 2001, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the trellises should remain, but a reduction in the number of trellises and a <br />modification to the design (deleting the masonry bases) would continue to <br />provide a transition to the residential neighborhood. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PDR-107, the application of C.J. and Suzarme Doherty <br />d.b.a. Budget Car and Track Rental/Sales, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. The developmem plan for Case PCUP-11/PV-16/PDR-44, Exhibit <br /> "A", dated "Received July 5, 2000" and approved by the Planning <br /> Commission on July 12, 2000, shall be modified as follows: <br /> <br />a. The number of required trellises may be reduced from seven to <br /> five. <br /> <br />b. Two of the trellises shall be located on the northwestern comer of <br /> Pimlico Drive and Brockton Drive as originally approved, and the <br /> remaining trellises shall be evenly spaced along Brockton Drive. <br /> <br /> <br />
