CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1520 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> AMENDING SECTION 2 (PART) OF ORDINANCE 1410, <br /> SECTION i (PART) OF ORDINANCE 1225, SECTIONS <br /> I (PART), 2 AND 3 OF ORDINANCE 1492, AND <br /> SECTION 2 (PART) OF ORDINANCE 1220; AND <br /> SECTIONS 18.20.020, 18.20.030, 18.20.040, <br /> 18.20.100, 18.20.110, 18.20.120, 18.20.130, <br /> 18.20.140, 18.74.040, 18.96.040, 18.96.100, <br /> 18.96.150, 18.112.020, 18.132.010, <br /> 18.132.050, 18.132.060, 18.132.070, <br /> 18.132.080, 18.132.090, 18.132.100, <br /> 18.132.110, 18.132.120, 18.132.130, AND <br /> 18.132.150 OF THE PT~ASANTONMUNICIPAL CODE, <br /> ~T~.REGARDINGTHE COMPOSITION, DUTIES AND <br /> SCOPE OF REVIEW OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 2 (part) of Ordinance 1410 and sections <br /> 18.20.020, 18.20.030, 18.20.040, 18.20.100, 18.20.110, <br /> 18.20.120, 18.20.130, and 18.20.140 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 18.20.020 Membership and Qualifications <br /> <br /> The board shall consist of five regular members and one <br /> alternate member. All members shall be either state- <br /> licensed in the professions of architecture or <br /> landscape architecture or be unlicensed <br /> design/development professionals; provided, however, <br /> that no more than two of the members shall be <br /> unlicensed design/development professionals and such <br /> members shall be knowledgeable in matters of design and <br /> aesthetic judgment by virtue of training, education <br /> and/or experience. All members shall be residents of <br /> the City. <br /> <br /> Section 18.20.030 Appointment/Removal <br /> <br /> All members of the board shall be appointed by the <br /> mayor, subject to approval by vote of the city council. <br /> The mayor, with concurrence of a majority of the <br /> council, shall have the authority to remove any member <br /> without cause. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
