CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1519 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> SIGNATURE PROPERTIES FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION <br /> TO AN APPROVED PUD DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO ALLOW <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF 151 TOWNHOUSEAND CONDOMINIUM <br /> UNITS ON A 12.4 ACRE SITE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Signature properties has applied for a major modification <br /> to an approved PUD Development Plan to allow construction <br /> of 151 townhouse and condominium units on a 12.4 acre <br /> site located on lot 24A of the Hacienda Business Park, <br /> bounded by West Las Positas Boulevard, Stoneridge Drive, <br /> the Arroyo Mocho Canal, and Tassajara Creek; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> - High Density Residential District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on March 20, 1990, for <br /> the previously approved 153 unit townhouse development <br /> (Case GP-90-1, Case pUD-81-30-23M, and Case <br /> pUD-81-30-52D, Summerhill Development Company) on this <br /> site; and. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed project constitutes site and architectural <br /> changes, has two fewer units than the previously approved <br /> project, and is a modification of the previously approved <br /> project; therefore, this application does not constitute <br /> a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br /> documents accompany this application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the new development plan; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 17, <br /> 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton- <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
