CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1524 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF TME CITY OF pT~ASANTON <br /> AMENDING THE pT~ASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE BY <br /> ADDING TPwRRETO A NEW CHAPTER, 2.48, TO TITv2 2 <br /> OF THEpLEASANTONMUNICIPALCODE, ESTABLISHING <br /> SELRCTION PROCEDURES FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRMS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: A new chapter, 2.48, is hereby added to Title 2 of the <br />pleasanton Municipal Code, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "2.48 <br /> <br /> Selection Procedures for the Development of <br /> T.~sts of Qualified Fir~s for Certain <br /> Professional Services. <br /> <br /> Section 2.48,010 ~ <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall establish the selection procedures for <br /> the development of lists of qualified firms for architectural, <br /> engineering, environmental, land surveying and construction <br /> project management services, in conformance with California <br /> Government Code §§4525 et seq. <br /> <br /> Section 2.48,020 ~ <br /> For purposes of this Chapter, the following definitions shall <br /> apply: <br /> <br /> A. Directo_ r. 'Director' shall mean the respective <br /> department head who has the primary administrative <br /> responsibility for a particular project. <br /> <br /> Section 2.48,030 Annual Statement of Qualifications <br /> <br /> A. The Director shall encourage firms engaged in the lawful <br /> practice of their profession to submit annually a <br /> statement of qualifications and performance data. <br /> <br /> B.
