WHEREAS · <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WUEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAP~EDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-11 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION A~iENDING SECTION II ( HOUSING AND COM- <br />MUNITY DEVELOPMENT) SUBSECTION (a) (BUILDING INSPEC'- <br />TION DIVISION) OF RESOLUTION NO. 7a-138 (A ~ESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL <br />SERVICES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION NOS. 73--23, 73-95, 73-112, 73-126, AND <br />73-101) ESTABLISHING FEES FOR GEOLOGIC REPORTS. <br /> <br /> the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, on July 1, <br /> 1974, adopted Resolution No. 74-138 {A Resolution <br /> Establishing Fees and Charges for Various Municipal <br /> Services of the City of Pleasanton and Repealing <br /> Resolution Nos. 73-23, 73-95, 73-112· 73-126, and <br /> 73--101), which established fees and charges for <br /> various municipal services in the City of Pleasanton; <br /> and, <br /> subsection IIa established the fees required under <br /> the Building Inspection Division of the Eousing and <br /> Community Development Departmentl and, <br /> ih is necessary to impose new fees under this sub- <br /> section in order to pay for administrative costs and <br /> costs for preparation of geological reports required <br /> by the Alquist-Priolo Geologic Hazard Zone Act, <br /> (Section 2~21, et sequetur~ of the Public Resources <br /> Code). <br /> <br />NO~ THEREFORE; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Subsection (d) is added to Section IIA (Housing and <br /> Community Development, Building Inspection Division, <br /> Building Permit mees) to read as follows~ <br /> <br /> d. A fee equal to one-tenth of one percent of the <br /> total valuation of the proposed building con- <br /> struction for which the building permit is issued. <br /> This fee ls charged under S2625 of the Public <br /> Resources Code (Alquist-Priolo Geologic Uazard <br /> Zone Act). One-half of the collected fee shall <br /> be retained by the City and the other one--half <br /> shall be transmitted to the State Treasurer for <br /> the State General Fund. <br /> <br /> <br />
