WHEREAS · WHEREAS , WUEREAS, CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAP~EDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 75-11 A RESOLUTION A~iENDING SECTION II ( HOUSING AND COM- MUNITY DEVELOPMENT) SUBSECTION (a) (BUILDING INSPEC'- TION DIVISION) OF RESOLUTION NO. 7a-138 (A ~ESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES AND CHARGES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERVICES OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS. 73--23, 73-95, 73-112, 73-126, AND 73-101) ESTABLISHING FEES FOR GEOLOGIC REPORTS. the City Council of the City of Pleasanton, on July 1, 1974, adopted Resolution No. 74-138 {A Resolution Establishing Fees and Charges for Various Municipal Services of the City of Pleasanton and Repealing Resolution Nos. 73-23, 73-95, 73-112· 73-126, and 73--101), which established fees and charges for various municipal services in the City of Pleasanton; and, subsection IIa established the fees required under the Building Inspection Division of the Eousing and Community Development Departmentl and, ih is necessary to impose new fees under this sub- section in order to pay for administrative costs and costs for preparation of geological reports required by the Alquist-Priolo Geologic Hazard Zone Act, (Section 2~21, et sequetur~ of the Public Resources Code). NO~ THEREFORE; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subsection (d) is added to Section IIA (Housing and Community Development, Building Inspection Division, Building Permit mees) to read as follows~ d. A fee equal to one-tenth of one percent of the total valuation of the proposed building con- struction for which the building permit is issued. This fee ls charged under S2625 of the Public Resources Code (Alquist-Priolo Geologic Uazard Zone Act). One-half of the collected fee shall be retained by the City and the other one--half shall be transmitted to the State Treasurer for the State General Fund.
