WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 77-2 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGN AND LOCATION <br />OF BART BUS SHELTERS AND BENCHES AND APPROVING <br />A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH AC TRANSIT FOR INSTAL- <br />LATION AND MAINTENANCE OF BUS SHELTERS <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton is part of the Bay Area Rapid <br />Transit District; and <br /> <br />BART presently provides bus services to the City of <br />Pleasanton in conjunction with AC Transit; and <br /> <br />BART has indicated that they will make available to <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton= three bus shelters; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission at its meeting of December 8, <br />1976, considered the appearance and the location of <br />the bus shelters to be provided by BART; and <br />the Planning Commission approved the design of said <br />shelters and the location of the same at three locations: <br /> <br />1. Southeast corner of the intersection of Vineyard <br /> <br /> Avenue and First Street, <br /> <br />2. Neal Street, in front of Wayside Park, <br /> <br />3. Hopyard Road and West Les Positas Blvd. on the <br /> <br /> east side of Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br /> the Commission also approved a request by the Soropto- <br /> mist Club to purchase two or three bus benches for <br /> placement at the intersections of Valley and Santa <br /> Rita, Stanley and Santa Rita and Sunol and Arlington; <br /> <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District also submitted to <br /> the City Council, a license agreement for the installa- <br /> tion and maintenance of the aforementioned bus shelters; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />
