WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of January 3, 1977 <br /> considered the Director of Planning's report of <br /> <br />December 29, 1976 and the Assistant to the City Manager - <br />Walker report of December 22, 1976, as well as exhibits <br />attached to said reports, which dealt with the above <br />matters; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the establishment of three bus shelters at <br /> <br /> the following locations: <br /> <br /> 1. Southeast corner of the intersection of Vineyard <br /> <br /> Avenue and First Street, <br /> <br /> 2. Neal Street, in front of Wayside Park, <br /> <br /> 3. Hopyard Road and West Las Positas Blvd. on the east <br /> side of Hopyard Road. <br /> <br /> Said shelters shall be of a design more particularly <br /> shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. Approves the location of bus benches to be purchased <br /> <br /> by the Soroptomist Club at the following locations: <br /> <br />1. At the intersection of Valley and Santa Rita Road, <br />2. At the intersection of Stanley and Santa Rita Road and <br />3. At the intersection of Sunol and Arlington. <br />Section 3. Directs the City Manager and City Staff to undertake <br /> <br /> necessary actions to implement the terms of this resolu- <br /> tion including where necessary obtain the consent of <br /> property owners for the location of bus stops on private <br /> property. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
