WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-21 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPOFJATION TO SEEK FUNDING FOR WEST LAS POSITAS <br />OVERCROSSING AND TO COMMENCE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT <br />AND DESIGN OF THIS PROJECT. <br /> <br /> the State of California entered into a freeway agree- <br /> ment with the County of Alameda on October 30, 1964, <br /> wherein the State agreed to provide an interchange at <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard and Interstate Route 680 <br /> "when justified"; and <br /> the City of Pleasanton annexed this territory, known <br /> as Annexation No. 24, Foothill Annex, effective <br /> <br /> January 1, 1966, and succeeded Alameda County's jur- <br /> isdiction relative to freeway agreements within this <br /> area; and <br /> the State of California entered into a freeway agreement <br /> with the City of Pleasanton on May 10, 1971, wherein <br /> the State agreed to provide an interchange at West Las <br /> Positas Boulevard and Interstate Route 680 "when justi- <br /> fied"; and <br /> the completion of Interstate Route 680 through the City <br /> of Pleasanton has created a barrier effectively sepa- <br /> rating some 1,053 dwelling units and some 3,832 persons, <br /> approximately twelve percent of the City's population, <br /> from the main part of the City, making it extremely <br /> <br /> <br />
