CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-22 A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF OAKLAND NEON SIGNS TO A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING CASE Z-77-184 WHEREAS, Oakland Neon Signs made application for design review for a 2 1/2' x 14' internally illuminated wall sign proposed to be installed on the building located at 435 Main Street; and WHEREAS , the Design Review Board, at its meeting of December 14, 1977, held a public hearing on the matter at which time a staff report and testimony from the applicant and the community were received; and WHEREAS , following the Public Hearing the Design Review Board adopted Resolution R-77-65 attached hereto and incorporated by refer- ence herein, denying sign under Case Z-77-184; and WHEREAS, the applicant requested a hearing before the City Council on his denied application; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at its January 24, 1978, meeting received a report dated January 3, 1978 from the Director of Planning re- garding this matter and at a public hearing took testimony from the applicant, staff and the public. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Denies the appeal of Oakland Neon Signs from a decision of the Design Review Board denying Case Z-77-184, an application for a proposed 2 1/2' x 14' internally illuminated wall sign to be installed on the building located at 435 Main Street. Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
