CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-12 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CERTIFYING REFERENDUM PETITION FOR CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON ORDINANCE NO. 1056 <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />a petition with 2,351 signatures was submitted to <br />the City Clerk on December 22, 1982 to referend <br />Ordinance No. 1056 approving the Quail Creek <br />Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the petition was forwarded to the Alameda County <br />Registrar of Voters for verification of the signatures; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Registrar has reviewed the signatures and <br />certified that sufficient qualified signatures <br />were on the petition (See attached Exhibit "A"); <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council hereby certifies that the required <br /> number of signatures have been received to referend <br /> Ordinance No. 1056. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 11, 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor <br /> Butler <br /> None <br /> Councilmember Wood <br /> None <br /> <br /> NOES: <br /> ABSENT: <br /> ABSTAIN: ~ iL~" <br /> ATTEST: <br />~v ~'~C~~i~ ROBERT' E.
