5 <br /> THE CITY fOF1 <br /> ILL <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLE ASANTON® <br /> March 5, 2019 <br /> Library and Recreation <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> WITH TRI-VALLEY REPERTORY THEATRE FOR THEATRICAL <br /> PRODUCTION SERVICES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Based upon the current success of Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre (TVRT) at the <br /> Firehouse Arts Center, staff recommends extending the Agreement for Services with <br /> TVRT for an additional year. Services include: professional, artistic, technical and <br /> administrative support for two to three annual theatrical productions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the First Amendment to the Services Agreement with Tri-Valley Repertory <br /> Theatre for theatrical production services. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed First Amendment to the Services Agreement with the Tri-Valley <br /> Repertory Theatre for theatrical production services is in the amount not to exceed <br /> $130,000 annually. The expense of this agreement will be offset by revenues derived <br /> from ticket sales, additional rental revenue, and less staff time spent on production <br /> because TVRT will provide their own technical staff. Funding is included as part of the <br /> FY 2019/20 Operating Budget process, as expenses will not be realized until July 1, <br /> 2019. <br />
