Upon the approval of the chief of police, employees required to work after <br />completion of their regular work day shall be entitled to overtime compen- <br />sation for all hours so worked; provided, however, that the overtime rate <br />shall be computed at one and one-half (1½) times the employee's regular rate <br />of pay as calculated to the nearest one-tenth (1/10) of an hour· <br /> <br />Upon the approval of the chief of police, employees required to work on one <br />of the following listed holidays shall be compensated at a rate of pay twice <br />that established for regular time for the holiday hours worked: <br /> <br /> a. January 1st <br /> b. February 12th, known as "Lincoln Day" <br /> c. The third Monday in February, known as "Washington Day" <br /> d. The last Monday in May, known as "Memorial Day" <br /> e. July 4th <br /> f. The first Monday in September, known as "Labor Day" <br /> g. September 9th, known as "Admission Day" <br /> h. The eleventh day of the eleventh month, known as "Veterans Day" <br /> i. Thanksgiving Day <br /> J. The Friday following Thanksgiving Day <br /> k. December 25th <br /> 1. Good Friday between the hours of 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. - <br /> <br />It is mutually recommended that the modifications shown above be made applicable <br />on the dates indicated and, in conjunction with the existing rules, regulations <br />and ordinances of the city, shall constitute the wages, hours and working condi- <br />tions for those employees represented by City of Pleasanton Police Management <br />Unit, Operating Engineers Union Local #3 for the period October 1, 1980, through <br />December 31, 1981.
