CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAJ{EDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-285 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PEP~,~IT APPLICATION FOR <br />CHAI~BER OF CO~R~RCE HERITAGE DAYS BICYCLE RACE <br />AND PARADE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />~tEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce has submitted <br />applications to hold a bicycle race and parade as <br />a part of this year's Heritage Days celebration; and <br /> <br />the police department has been consulted to establish <br />an acceptable route for the bicycle race; and <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed a report <br />from the Assistant to the City Manager regarding the <br />details of the proposed events and recommending <br />approval of the applications. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF Tt~ CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the applications of the Pleasanton Chamber <br /> of Commerce for the bicycle race and parade celebrating <br /> Heritage Days, subject to all police and fire department <br /> conditions set forth in Attachment A. <br /> <br />Section 2: The 1981-82 fiscal year budget is amended by <br /> approximately $1,107.00 to offset the costs of these <br /> events. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 25, 1981 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />APPR VED AS TO F~RM: ~ <br /> clty Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
