CITY OF PLEASA~ITON <br /> <br />WASTE ~ISCHARGE PERI,~IT <br /> <br /> Pursuant to the Authority established by Section 2-15.29, Article <br />3~ Chapter 8, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton. this <br />waste discharge permit is provided to R.G, Vehndenberghe Office Complex, <br />Sunol Boulevard, Pleasanton, California 94566 (heroinafter referred to as <br />"~ner'~) for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> I. Owner is a commercial user discharging waste to the City's <br />sewers for treatment at the Dublin San Ramon Services District's Sewage <br /> <br />Treatment Plant. At the present time, the waste is of domestic origin~ <br /> <br /> 1I. Pursuant to the agreement entered into between the City and <br /> <br />Dublin San Ramon Services District, dated May 30, 1978, all wastes entering <br />the DSRSD plant must meet certain standards. <br /> <br /> III. City has reason to b~lieve that 'the discharg~ of wastes greatly <br />in excess of the limits set for various constituents such as pH a~d sulfides <br />will make it difficult to meet the requirements for discharge to the DSRSD <br />Treatment Plant~ Possible delays in d~scharging sewage to the Pleasanton <br />system may also cause odor problems. <br /> <br /> IV. City has reason to believe that City can accept a waste dis- <br />charge from Owner and can transpor'~ such discharge via the Ci~y's sewer <br />system to the DSRSD Treatment Plant ~,~ithout detrimental affect on the Cit~'s <br />facilities or the DSRSD Treatment Plant a~d without violatim~g requirements <br />imposed on the City for discharge ~:o t~ie DSRSD Treatmerit Plant, provided <br />that certain conditions are met and Owner pays for additional costs of con- <br />veyance and treatment. <br /> <br /> <br />
