EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />For the period commencing October 1, 1981, and ending September 30, 1982, the salary <br />ranges and supplementary benefits for management employees shall be as follows: <br /> <br />I. Salary Ranges. The salary ranges listed below shall be in effect for the period <br /> October 1, 1981, through September 30, 1982. <br /> <br /> Position Salary Range <br />DireCtor of Public Works and Utilities $2986 - 3729 <br />Police Chief 2979 - 3724 <br />Fire Chief 2734 - 3417 <br />Director of Planning and Community Development 2686 - 3357 <br />Public Works Field Superintendents (2) 2417 - 3021 <br />Director of Finance 2548 - 3104 <br />Assistant to the City Manager 2374 - 2968 <br />Chief Building Inspector 2362 - 2950 <br />Director of Recreation and Human Resources 2165 - 2704 <br />Accounting Officer 2074 - 2590 <br />Fire Prevention Officer 2002 - 2506 <br />Police Research and Training Assistant 1727 - 2165 <br />Accounting Supervisor 1727 - 2165 <br /> <br />II. Supplementary Benefits. <br /> <br />Medical. Fully paid premiums for either the Blue Cross Plan or the Kaiser <br />"Si" Plan with optical and prescription drug options. A post-retirement <br />Medical benefit of premium contribution up to $150 per month for two years <br />after retirement is optionally available under criteria established by the <br />CityManager. During the term of this document the following positions are <br />entitled to the post-retirement medical benefit: Police Chief, Fire Chief, <br />Fire Prevention Officer, Public Works Field Superintendent (Utilities), Public <br />Works Field Superintendent (Streets), and Police Research and Training Assis- <br />tant. <br /> <br />B. Dental. Fully paid premiums for dental insurance. <br /> <br />Life Insurance. Fully paid premiums for life insurance with a value equal <br />to twice the annual salary of the employee. Additional life insurance cover- <br />age to be available at the expense of the employee. <br /> <br />D. Long Term Disability. Fully paid premiums for long term disability insurance. <br /> <br />Seven days administrative leave per fiscal year not to be taken in conjunction <br />with annual vacation and to be reimbursed twice each year, January and July, <br />if not taken. <br /> <br />F. Vacation. <br /> <br />1. One (1) through four (4) years of continuous service - ten (10) vacation <br /> days. <br />2. Five (5) through ten (10) years of continuous service - fifteen (15) <br /> vacation days. <br />3. Eleven (11) through eighteen (18) years of continuous service - twenty <br /> (20) vacation days. <br />4. Nineteen (19) years of continuous service and more - twenty-five (25) <br /> vacation days. <br /> <br /> <br />
