WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-389 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN ~ENDMENTS <br />TO THE LA~D USE ELEMENT FOR THE GENERAL PLAN <br />CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATIONS FOR TWO SITES <br />IN THE PLANNING AREA <br /> <br />requests for General Plan change to the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan have been made concerning <br />the following areas: <br /> <br />Application of Sidney Corrie, Jr. for a general <br />plan change to the land use designation of a 27% <br />acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded <br />by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on <br />the east and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north <br />from Medium Density Residential to High Density <br />Residential. <br /> <br />Application of Stoneson Associates for a general <br />plan change to the land use designation of an <br />approximately 6.6 acre site located on Stonedale <br />Drive, between Stoneridge Drive on the north and <br />1-680 on the east from Freeway Interchange and <br />Open Space (Public Health and Safety) to High <br />Density Residential; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings on <br />these proposed changes and has made recommendations <br />concerning same; and <br /> <br />the City Council determined that Mitigated Negative <br />Declarations were appropriate for the proposed General <br />Plan amendments and adopted Resolutions 81-388 and <br />81-390 approving the Mitigated Negative Declarations; <br />and <br /> <br />on November 10, 1981, the City Council held a public <br />hearing with respect to the General Plan amendments <br />at which time any member of the public was offered the <br />opportunity to address the City Council on said amend- <br />ments; and <br /> <br />after the close of the public hearing the City Council <br />deliberated upon the proposed amendments, considering <br />the information set forth in the report of the Director <br />of Planning and Community Development and attachments <br />thereto, as well as the information contained in the <br />Initial Study leading to the Mitigated Negative Declara- <br />tions for said projects. <br /> <br /> <br />
